PROJECT ManageMENT

Project management is the construction stage of your project. Project managers are responsible for managing all functions of construction and acting as the liaison between you and the Kuepers field crew, suppliers, and subcontractors. They will work with you on product selections and making changes. They serve as your primary contact for construction-related questions and issues. They ensure that your project is in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, and obtain all necessary permits. They also coordinate scheduling of material deliveries and subcontractor work.

Dan Kuepers

Production Manager

Dan oversees the overall production of all construction projects and project management activities, provides direction and support for project managers, monitors subcontractors, and assists human resources with personnel decisions. He is also responsible for OSHA safety compliance. Dan graduated from the University of Minnesota-Duluth with a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Ray Austin

Field Operations Manager

Ray oversees field and warehouse activities, which includes scheduling field employees on a weekly basis, determining manpower needs, and dispatching, retrieving, and purchasing construction tools and equipment. Ray previously worked as a project manager on residential, commercial, and resort/multi-family housing development projects.  He is a graduate of St. Cloud State University.

Bruce Weaver

Project Manager

Bruce has more than 15 years of construction experience and is currently managing the construction of a large, multi-phase resort in Two Harbors, MN. In addition to his previous project management experience with both residential and commercial projects, Bruce has an exceptional estimating background. He delivers competitive and accurate estimates for a wide variety of construction projects. He has an extensive knowledge of Timberline® estimating software and had even assisted with the early development of computerized estimating for Kuepers.

Eric Halbert

Project Manager

Eric has over four years of commercial project management experience. He has recently completed such projects as Camille’s in Rochester, MN, and In-Motion Physical Therapy in Baxter. Before becoming a project manager, he worked hands-on in the field. Eric earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Bemidji State University.

Mike Hays

Project Manager

Mike has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, including drafting, estimating, and project management. He is most familiar with educational, retail, industrial, office, and restaurant construction projects. Broyhill/Furniture North in Brainerd, Nature Vision, also in Brainerd, Associates in Eyecare in Baxter and Good Ol' Days Family Resort in Nisswa are among the projects he has recently completed.

Dan Kennedy

Project Manager

Dan coordinates and oversees custom home and residential remodeling projects. He also has experience managing affordable housing developments and design/build commercial projects, such as Minnesota Inboard Water Sports and the Arbor Glenn Villas, both in Baxter. Dan is a graduate of Mankato State University.

Cale LaVoie

Project Manager

Cale has over 15 years of construction experience. He has managed a variety of commercial projects from multi-family housing developments, to a 27,000-square-foot furniture manufacturing facility to the recently-completed State Behavioral Clinics in Annandale, Cold Spring, and Rochester, MN. Currently, he is managing the construction of a large kitchen/bath, and lighting showroom. Cale is also a member of Kuepers’ safety committee, helping to keep the company on the cutting edge of safety equipment and procedures. Cale attended Bemidji State University and received his construction education through the Dunwoody Institute.

Roger Lorenz

Project Manager

Roger attended Mankato State University and has 35 years of residential and commercial construction and customer service experience. Roger’s main focus is on the residential side of the business. Roger also manages home construction and customer service in the Grandview Estates, Forest Hills Estates, and Bluffs Ridge Estates Developments.

Paul Reier

Project Manager

Paul manages both residential and commercial construction projects. He is currently overseeing several custom residential projects throughout the area. Paul is a graduate of Bemidji State University and has previous hands-on experience with many facets of construction.

Joe Klemmetsen

Project Manager

Joe has 9 years experience in the construction industry. He primarily manages Kuepers' commercial projects but has worked on residential and commercial projects both in the field and as a project manager. Recent projects include Ellis Remodel, Kentucky Fried Chicken and the Fed Ex Building. Joe is a graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead with a bachelor's degree in Construction Management.

Dan Richter

Project Manager

Dan began working for Kuepers as a mason and was promoted to a project manager. Dan has been involved in the construction industry for more than seven years. More recent projects include Wells Fargo Bank remodel and the First Federal Savings Bank in Baxter, and has been project manager for several residential remodels as well. Dan is a graduate of The College of St.Scholastica with a bachelor’s degree in Management.

Nate Holzer

Project Manager

Nate has over 10 years of experience in the construction industry, and currently managing several local residential and commercial projects. He is a graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead with a bachelor's degree in Construction Management and is certified in erosion and sediment control.

Pete Reisdorf

Project Manager

Pete has 17 years experience in the HVAC mechanical division and began working for Kuepers two years ago as a lead foreman, and promoted to project manager. Pete manages both commercial and  residential projects including Timber Lake Lodge in Grand Rapids, along with several custom homes on the Brainerd area. He is currently in the process of earning a certification to install solar panel systems.

Todd DeChaine

Landscape and Irrigation Supervisor

Todd comes to Kuepers with 23 years of experience and holds many certifications that make him a valuable asset to the team. Todd is MNLA Certified Landscape Professional, a certified low voltage electrician, certified irrigation contractor and is currently working towards a certified irrigation designer.
