The original cabin was renovated on both levels and a 1,753-square foot addition was constructed to provide the owners more room instead of tearing down and building new. Using the original cabin as one of the home’s wings, the focal point of the home is the two-level addition in the center. The new foyer and log stairs create a grand entrance and open up to the gathering room and lower-level living areas. The master bedroom and bath off the entry are in keeping with the original cabin. The second wing contains a four-season porch. Changes in the original cabin were subtle.
