This 3,272-square-foot lake home with a master suite and guest bedroom was designed for two people enjoying an empty-nest lifestyle. The flavor that Kuepers brought to life in this home is warm, eclectic, and Old World, categorically one of a kind. A warm atmosphere was created by selecting organic, native Minnesota building materials in tiles, stone, and wood species. In contrast, eclectic appeal was achieved in lavish cabinetry, moldings, and millwork, embellished with artisan-crafted steel and copper hardware. Old World architecture is emphasized with the use of 100-year old Minneapolis warehouse timbers, antique Douglas fir flooring, and reclaimed Minnesota barn siding.
